Posted in News,

We are very proud to announce that Old Captain Co. has been nominated and will represent Switzerland at the 2017 European Entrepreneurial Awards part of the

Global E-Commerce Summit in Barcellona.

The organization behind the Global E-Commerce Summit has announced the nominees for its annual awards. In two categories, brands and retailers from across Europe compete for the jury’s favor. Finalists then need to present their elevator pitch, after which the GES audience will vote to decide which finalists will take home the awards.

The Global E-Commerce Summit recognizes with this price, the most innovative, groundbreaking, smart, game-changing operation in Europe. This means that size and maturity do not matter. The winner of the Award has to be a true entrepreneur in its field.

During the Global E-commerce Summit in Barcelona on Tuesday 13 June 2017, jury panelists will convene to identify top three contenders in each award category. Finalists for each award will then head to the Feature Stage at the end of the day, where they’ll have the attention and face the scrutiny of the Global E-commerce Summit (GES) general audience.

In just 2 minutes, finalists will need to present their honed elevator pitch before fielding questions – this time from GES attendees. And it’s the GES general audience who’ll vote for which finalists takes home the Gold, Silver or Bronze awards at the Global E-commerce Summit this year.

Let's hope one of these will be Old Captain :)
